Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Fibromyalgia: A Useful Comparison

Fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome are very similar disorders. These diseases are so similar that earlier chronic fatigue syndrome was characterized as Fibromyalgia. A considerable number of people who are suffering from fibromyalgia are also suffering from chronic fatigue syndrome. The symptoms of both the diseases are very common. These similarities make diagnosis and treatment even more confusing. A clear comparison should be made for both the diseases to diminish this confusion.

Chronic fatigue flash hot

There are certain hormones that mimic the normal hormones in the body responsible for the being. These hormones disrupt the chemical composition of the natural hormone. The brewed coffee that is bleach filtered too has dioxins. These chemicals have the ability of passing through the skin. These can get accumulated in the adipose tissues that are the fat cells in the body. These are capable of blocking the enzymatic pathways in the enzyme cycles in the liver. These generally remain attached to the hormone receptors in the body. The hot flashes create great discomfort to the body and the general well being.

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

Chronic fatigue are also as myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME), post-viral fatigue syndrome (PVFS), and various other names, is a syndrome of unknown and possibly multiple etiologies, affecting the central nervous system (CNS), immune and many other systems and organs. There is no simple diagnostic test. CFS is a diagnosis of exclusion, although recent research indicates biological hallmarks of the syndrome and a diagnostic test is predicted soon. CFS occurs more often but not exclusively, in women, possibly due to immunological factors as women are overall more susceptible to similar disorders. CFS is most easily diagnosed when formerly active adults become ill but it has been reported in persons of all ages which include young children and particularly teenagers.

Chronic muscle fatigue

Function of Skeletal Muscle

Skeletal muscle function was measured as force production and fatigue in both the quadriceps and adductor pollicis in five healthy volunteers, five patients with mild chronic heart failure, and five patients with rigorous chronic heart failure. The quadriceps of patients with chronic heart failure had an abridged muscle cross sectional area, a reduced maximum isometric force production and an increased tendency to fatigue. Isometric force production and fatigue of the adductor pollicis, however, were not considerably different between the three groups under control conditions. However during circulatory occlusion fatigue in the adductor pollicis is augmented more in the patients with severe chronic heart failure. These differing findings in quadriceps and adductor pollicis propose that skeletal muscle atrophy and reduced isometric force production are not an essential consequence of chronic heart failure per se, because they were only present in the large locomotive muscle.
