Choosing of toothbrush

Good health and health teeth go hand in hand. To be in a good health it is necessary to keep you teeth clean and be in a good health. Choosing a toothbrush for teeth care is very important. A toothbrush mainly consists of two parts, a handle, and bristles. The toothbrushes with simple straight handles are recommended when choosing a toothbrush.

A good toothbrush

Make sure your toothbrush can move about your mouth freely in your mouth in order to clean every tooth surface. Also, make sure that the bristles of the toothbrush are soft so that it does not injure the gums. The size of the toothbrush head should be appropriate to the size of the oral cavity. The size of the toothbrush head should be of the size of a one-dollar coin; this size is best suitable for the adults in general. The bristle pattern of the toothbrush and the handle design should be determined by the personal preference and the habit. As long as the toothbrush is correctly used, the type of the toothbrush does not matter. You can use any one, a manual toothbrush, or the powered toothbrush. Before using the powered toothbrush, consult your doctor first before using it.

Toothbrush selection

Toothbrush of any kind of the brush head cleans teeth effectively. However, the size of the toothbrush head must be appropriate one, best suitable for the cavity. The toothbrush for the babies of age 2 to 6 years should be approximately of the diameter of 19 mm. The children of age 6 to 12 years should be of the head that is approximately the diameter of 22 mm. the children of age 12 years and above should have a brush that has head of 25 mm diameter. The nylon bristles are recommended as the bristles are made up of the animal hair that contains protein, which is prone to be contaminated with mold living in mouth. The toothbrush that has bristles planted in three rows and the width of your thumb in its length fits your mouth. The standard bristles of the toothbrush are the one has normal hardness, is not too soft or hard. Make sure the bristles are untinted and transparent ones.
