Chronic fatigue syndrome is a term given to prolong fatigue. Due to persistent fatigue, other disorders may originate among the patients. Although the cause of this syndrome is unknown, it is said that the main to cause for this kind of disorder is the stressful life that prevails in most of the countries. This disorder is also caused due to hypothyroidism, over activity of the pituitary gland and diabetes. This syndrome cannot be permanently treated as it can prop up again and again in the lifespan of the individual.

Symptoms of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

In chronic fatigue syndrome, besides persistent fatigue, the patient may also complain about insomnia, headache, fever and non-refreshing sleep. This syndrome may also lead to poor concentration and temporary loss of memory. It may also cause soar throat and muscle pain. In some cases muscle pain is also accompanied with joint pain. This syndrome may also lead to psychological problems such as depression, anxiety and panic attacks.

Correction of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

This syndrome can be treated in many ways. In order to help the patients suffering from this disease, several clinics have been set up all over the world. These clinics are known as chronic fatigue clinics. The main function of these clinics is to diagnose chronic fatigue syndrome with the help of the symptoms shown by the patients. After diagnosis this syndrome is treated. The other services which are provided by these clinics are education and counseling of the patients suffering from this syndrome. Patients suffering from severe and persistent fatigue are treated through fibromyalgia. The clinic's physician evaluates each person's illness and provides the appropriate treatment to the respective patients. Some of the clinics also provide counseling to emotionally disturbed patients. These clinics are also equipped with acupuncturists who relieve pain through alternative therapy. There are various mayoclinics and fibromyalgia clinics which run with the aim of disease control and prevention of chronic fatigue syndrome. These clinics also treat the allergies, pain and other symptoms related to chronic fatigue syndrome. Hence, these clinics have very thing related to the treatment of chronic fatigue syndrome under one roof.
