Dandruff is a very common problem and the solution for it is not a simpler one. This is created constantly as it renews itself and thus the formation of the flakes of the skin continues. These should be necessarily removed for well growth of hair. The main problem with the presence is that it results in fall of hair. The formation of the new cells goes on continually from the lower surface and gradually they are pushed from the lower end again and again. Consequently when these form vigorously a slight itching is felt in the head scalp. They are easily noticed with the naked eye when they fall on the dark clothes.

Cause of dandruff

Previously the dermatologists proposed the cause to be the formation of the yeast. And this was named as Pityrosporum ovale. It was predicted that they were also formed on the upper back mostly on the greasy areas. The formation of the dandruff is usually possible after the puberty and is discerned in both men and women. Usually when the skin becomes dry the formation becomes more frequent.

Treatment

The treatment can be in lots of various ways. The removal of the dandruff progresses steadily. It is a continuous process and single application is not a solution to this, so you have to go on repeating it regularly in order to stop the formation. Never use hair gels and they harm from the root level. These literally damage your hair also.

1. Massage it properly without scratching it.
2. Regularly shampoo your hair. Try to keep your hair dry and this should be done soon after you complete your bath.
3. Use moisturizer along with the shampoo to protect the scalp.
4. You need to destroy the yeast first if it has seriously damaged your scalp.
5. Use your fingertips while you are washing your hair. Keep it for sometime and then rinse.

In case of any serious problem it will be better to consult a doctor and go for sudden treatment.
