I can really relate to your comment, "You may be fearful of making mistakes or of being judged harshly" while in the work place. After reading Dealing With Divas, I realized that my boss is a Diva (controlling, high-stress) and it was affecting my attitude with my job. I received a lot of helpful information from this book and have located many posts like yours talking about the same/similar problem. It is not that un-common it seems. Thankfully I can say that Shelly Anderson's book has helped me learn to take more control/responsibility for my own self in within my work enviornment. I am going to recommend it to my other co-workers. :)
