These oral medicines are used to prevent and treat a variety of yeast infections, treating dandruff and treating prostate cancer. Avoid oiling your hair during the day for getting purge of dandruff. Apply warm oil at night and lightly massage your scalp using your fingertips. This formula usually improves blood circulation. Wash the hair the next morning. If your hair is oily then avoid application of oil. Wash your hair only twice or thrice a week and take a course of multivitamin tablets as advised by your family dermatologist. Prescription, natural products, supplements and vitamins act as primitive oral medicines for preventing dandruff.

Home made remedies

Homemade remedies for curing dandruff are followed in many underdeveloped economies. The best homemade remedy is shikakai found in central Indian forests and many other countries. Shikakai is commonly called soapnut and acacia concinna in scientific words is a small shrub like trees grows in the warm, dry plains. Pasting shikakai powder mixing in water cure dandruff definitely.
