Common problems faced during tooth brushing:

Crooked Teeth:
Sometimes the toothbrush cannot reach the places between the teeth, which are not uniformly placed. For this purpose, a small or soft bristles brush should be used or a dental floss would also be useful. Sometimes a toothbrush with small head is also useful.

Toothbrush cannot reach some places:
There are some places where toothbrush cannot reach due to its bigger head or the places where small-headed brush also don't reach. For this purpose the dental floss or single-tuft toothbrush or even an oral cleanser.

Gagging problem:
Some people gag while they brush their teeth. Usually, the gag reflex is stronger when brushing back teeth. Gagging may be less pronounced when you keep your lips closed. Start off with whatever area you find easiest, move slowly, and add other areas on a day-by-day basis until you manage to cover your whole mouth. To remove this problem, one may use a small-headed toothbrush.

Bleeding gums:
Gum or gingival inflammation is caused due to accumulation of dental plaque. The gum inflammation causes the gums to bleed while brushing. One can opt for a soft brush to clean away the plaque in such areas. Gum inflammation will subside as soon as the oral hygiene has improved.

Another problem that plaque causes is gum disease. Gum diseases occur when gums get infected. First stage of gum disease is known as gingivitis. Over time, the gums and the bone around the teeth can become weak. This can cause teeth to fall out.

Tooth decay:
When people age, their gums begin to grow low on resistant. The roots of the tooth get exposed and cavities develop fast in these areas. Cavities may lead to infection and breaking off of teeth. A dental check-up is the only remedy for this problem.

Reaction to fluorine:
Some peoples' teeth are sensitive to the fluorine present in the toothpaste. This problem may have some solution like using an non-fluorine based toothpaste or a low fluorine content toothpaste.

Sensitive teeth:
People having sensitive, cannot stand the coldness after brushing or while brushing. There are various toothpastes present in the market, which are specially manufactured for sensitive teeth.
