Lower back pains can be caused by several different reasons and while some of them are treatable with simple pain killers and/or other over the counter medications, other back aches must be taken to a doctor for diagnosis and treatment with relevant drugs or even surgery.

Common Cause Of Lower Back Pain

Some of the common causes for lower back pain are: bad posture while standing or sitting depending on the nature of your work, most of us spend several hours in front of the computer sitting in a relatively uncomfortable chair, which does not support our back and thus, causes the lower back pain; standing in heels for long periods of time can inflict the same pain in the back as well.

Lifting heavy objects, exercising the wrong way, sleeping on a mattress that does nit provide the right support and/or being overweight can also cause lower back pain. However, the most important thing is to recognize the lower back pain symptom and start treating it as soon as possible in order to get relief.

Common Lower Back Pain Symptoms

The most common lower back pain symptoms are: stiffness, unable to stand or sit normally for the usual periods of time that you used to before and pain even when you are resting such as laying on your back or sleeping.

Usually the lower back pain symptoms will disappear in a few days with some painkillers and if you have modified what you thought cause the lower back pain symptoms in the first place. However, if the pain persists and/or if the symptoms get worse, you must consult a doctor immediately a thorough check up in order to find out the reasons behind your lower back pain symptoms and how you can treat it.

While most of the times lower back aches will be caused by minor instances, which can be modified and/or corrected thus, getting you back to your healthy self however, there are times when you may be faced with a slip disc or a strained muscle, which can only become worse if not treated professionally right away, after a full check up by a qualified doctor.

What starts usually as a minor lower back ache can at times lead to serious diseases and even paralysis therefore, don't take a persisting back ache lightly and conduct a check up as soon as possible to ensure you get at the bottom of the problem and start a treatment as soon as possible.
