Special care is needed by the feet as humans walk so much in a year and feet bear a lot of burden. Each foot contains 28 bones and 35 joints. Foot pain is not good a good symptom it indicates that everything is not well in the body. Metatarsalgia causes pain in the ball of the feet; it is the set of bones that runs from toes to the base of the ankles. When even one metatarsalgia drops out of the aligned line that is bit near the toes can be inflamed and pain is experienced. Little pads of fat protect the ball of the feet and compression of these fat pads causes pain. Compression is caused due to nerves being pinched between the metatarsals and arthritis.

Foot care tips:
1. One should walk bare footed as shoes make the feet weak. It is good for muscles of the feet and for the body as a whole. Walking without shoes on green grass is also beneficial.
2. Relaxation is a good remedy for tired feet, do not take much tension. Roll a bottle underfoot while you sit on a chair. It helps in getting rid of the pain.
3. Use pumice stone to clean the foot, it will help the feet to retail soft and suppled , hard skin will be removed to avoid bleeding
4. Wearing good quality shoes with extra padding will help in reducing foot pain.
5. Applying ice to the feet on regular basis reduces pain.
6. excersing the muscles of the toes helps in reducing pain bathing feet with warm water and applying rich moisturizer also relax the feet.

Steps for immediate relief:
1. Soak the feet in water provides immediate relaxation. Both warm and cool water can be used but extreme should be avoided.
2. Massaging the feet with the cream relaxes them also the tennis ball massage helps in reducing pain.
3. wash the feet daily and make it dry properly, especially between the toes.
4. Nails should be trimmed regularly; it should not be cut very deeply.
5. Wearing socks that are clean and not very tight.
6. Wear shoes that fits properly and of good quality.
