The traditional Chinese medicines use various diagnostic systems, which have distinct methodologies. Accordingly they have different treatment techniques, which are used for different ailments. For joint pain Chinese treatments are highly effective and are preferred globally.

Traditional Chinese treatment techniques

Chinese treatment techniques have a multi dimensional approach to cure all kinds of ailments. The Tui na technique which a massage therapy is very effective and popular for treating the joint pain. The massage therapy uses various herbal oils for treating the pain. Acupuncture and Moxibustion is a renowned, trusted and tested technique. Acupuncture is the most accepted Chinese technique and is very effective on joint pain. Chinese medicines have a natural base and herbs a special importance. Chinese treatments use various herbs to formulate special topical and oral medications for treating joint pain. The selection of these herbs depends upon four natures, five tastes and different meridians. Accordingly the Chinese methodology use special herbs for treating back pain. Food therapy is also popular for treating joint pains. Special foods used that help to increase blood circulation, which is very crucial for relieving joint pain.

As mentioned earlier these medications are unchallenged, thus many hospitals in the west are using the Qigong and T'ai Chi Ch'uan technique for treating joint pains.
